Hi

I visited my dealer today to see if he had a definite date for delivery of my EB/W MCS. He told be that the date was the 4th september, but he also said they were coming in earlier than the due date and i could get my lovely car sooner.

I am very exited about my new car but am quite sad aswell

My wonderful T reg Mazda MX5 will be leaving me to go and live with someone else this Friday. I get very attached to my cars and i have had a fab time in it. It has caused us no trouble at all and we would not hesitate to buy another.
I had another sit in an MCS at the dealers today and i really can't wait, but i am dreading Friday. What i really want is for all you guys to tell me that it will be worth it

My spec is
EB/W
Chilli pack
white bonnet stripes
full leather lapis blue/black
Heated seats
CD
Sunroof (so i dont miss my soft top motoring too much!!)

Hope youre still enjoying your MINI! And hope there are no plans to swap it for some crummy MX5 in the future

I too had MX5's. I had a MK1 and an MK2 MX5, sold the MK2 when I ordered my MCS in October. The wait is a nightmare though, especially trying to manage withouyt a car. I wish I had kept my MX5 a bit longer, I wasn't expecting it to sell so quickly.
I also ordered the sunroof, to help offset not having a convertable.
Hope you car comes soon, mine is due at the end of April. I hope it has the same fun driving factor as the MX5.

My brother-on-law has a 1yr old MX-5 and is planig to put a supercharger in it

as he like the power/noise of my MCS

Its a different drive from the MX5 but its still fantastic and the power is awesome

Hope you enjoy your MINI when it arrives
