PS vs. DS

It's come down to these.. Planning to go w/ body color roof but am having difficulty in choosing b/w the silvers -- unfortunately, the profile function is currently out of commission. If anyone could post some particularly compelling pics, it would be appreciated.

Thoughts are that all of the black trim w/ PS may not look quite as well as w/ DS; however, have always been a fan of light silver - especially w/ silver alloys. I do recall having seen a pic of pure silver w/ black aero grill & painted areo sides that looked pretty mean.

Also concerned about the 'mottled' paint run on PS.

The DS looks very sharp & clean.

Either way, the plan is for the car to be around for a long time, I'd like something that will hold up w/ care and that I won't tire of.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I prefer PS but then I'm biased.

If you are getting an 'S' i would go for DS as its individual to the model if im correct light blue and dark silver are special to the 'S' and are not available on the 'ONE' or 'COOPER'

Disagree, if it's not got a contrast roof I'd go all PS, the DS will be just too much on it's own

DS is metallic and very pretty in the sun or under lights at night, but PS/B looks very right (but you said you were going body color roof, so that's out). I think I'd go with DS cuz it's alittle more unique than PS.

Pure Silver all over does look good on an "S".

This is a pic of one I tested last year.

Go for PS it's alot less common on the S where as DS is I think the most popular S colour out there.
I saw a PS S with DS viperstripes which looked very cool indeed.

Go for which one you prefer.
I got the Dark SIlver with the black roof 'cuz the sunroof blends in better.

Battleship Grey Metallic/B/B MCS
with every option known to man/BMW
less CD changer and NO car problems.

DS/W looks very nice if you change your mind about the roof color. Saw one the other day with the white 85 (?) wheels and it was SASSY!

I think the gallery has a picture of a DS/DS if I/m not mistaken.

DS/Blk if you get the sunroof it will be black anyway and with body colour, other than black, it looks like a hole in the roof.....

Good point, although it should only look like a hole when it is open

DS/W every time! I had a MCS in DS/W and now just ordered a new one in same colours. Such a head turned as the contrast of the colours compliment each other. A truly magnificent combination!
