Hey. Sorry if this seems a dumb question, but its something that's been bugging me for a while. If all the new Minis built from 01/09/03 are 04 build, how come the price increase isn't coming till 01/12/03? The other thread about the price increase started me thinking about it. I think I'm going to be lucky, as I'm waiting for a Cooper S, but I should get it before the price increase (Delivery in Nov), but hopefully I'll get the 04 mods. Best of both worlds?? Please, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I was told by my dealer the November builds wont include the extras, and was offered either. I took the December build. Seems like the dealers barely know what to charge so you might be lucky and get it at the cheaper price.

My dealer simply said that the price increase was to models delivered after 01/12/03. I got a copy of the new price list and this confirms this. I think I might be lucky and get the mods without the money (as he touches wood)!

Who is you source and do you care to elaborate on what "a bunch of changes" are. From what I've been reading on this forum and other sights is the new steering wheel and the rear fogs for the US model are the only things being delayed until december.

Doh! I had make a mess of the figures, and thought the ORP was going up (which I now can't see evidence of, having checked all the figures). But the Chilli Pack is still going up isn't it as of the end of the year? Are the Chilli mods being added to cars now (from 01/09/03)? Please excuse my lack of brain power. That's what 3 years of uni will do to anyone! Again, anyone with info please feel free to correct me.

It is my understanding that the base price on all 2004 cars is going to increase by $24. The sport package,premium package, & the leather package are going to increase $50 each. These are all US prices of course. My MCS should be in this week and my salesperson told me it would be at the new prices.

I have a Nov. delivery also and i was told that mine was an 04 and i got the price increase too, now im confused..

flatsix02: I only know that the UK price increase in the Chilli pack is at the start of Dec. I didn't ask about the builds, its just I've found out from here that mine is likely to be 04 build (and hopefully the Computer included).

Ijust spoke to my dealership a few hours ago & was told that the US cars definatelly have the price increases as of the 2004 model year.

I'll be at the BMW dealer on Sat morning (My Dad has ordered the new 5, and it test driving one), and I'll ask for clarification then. I'm not even all that bothered, all I want is my Mini!
