Offline | Sounds good. I think the Xenons are worth the money, plus they just look cool. DSC seems unnecessary. I would skip the HK radio, but if you are an audiophile you might want the extra speakers. |

Offline | We ordered DSC and Xenons as part of the sport package. I've found DSC helpful for spirited driving on twisty roads or taking corners faster than I should when no one is around. Also it gave me a feeling of comfort while learning what my MINIs performance limits were. Would I specifically buy DSC outside of a package, probably not due to the price. Xenons, I like the white light and they give a better view of the road. Definately yes. HK, I like it. Considering BMW is selling it you get a good value for the price. However as has been noted by others, it shows any flaws in the source music. I find that instrumental is the only setting that makes FM decent. All the others are bass heavy. CDs however play wonderfully in my opinion on other settings depending on the CD. Sean |

Offline | The autodim mirror is quite a bit better than the regular one because it has many shades instead of an all or nothing dim. We've got a lot of raised SUVs around us and it comes in handy. Similar to the automatic A/C, it gives a feeling of your MINI taking care of the little stuff for you. Not much experience with the wipers living in SoCal. And if you get a cracked windshield, the rain sensor makes it more expensive to replace. Found that out already. If you wanted to you could probably add the autodim mirror and rain sensor later. The wiring harness should be in place on all cars. Finally, the Xenon lights have the headlight washers while the standard ones don't. Depending on your driving conditions that may make a difference to you. Sean |
