Question Aux Gauge pack - Is it worth getting? is it flimsy or useful ?

Hi ALL,

Just trying to solidify my order, Want to know if the Auxillary Gauges are worth the expense?

Are they neede or are they just for looks? They look flimsy in the photos ...?

Phil

All depends on your personal needs. I was originally going to get them, but decided that $250 was a little too much for two VDO guages. They do look good though, but I decided that the more room I had for storage of small things, the better.

To me, the gauge pack which mounts to the tack looks much nicer although the 500 buck price is also rediculas. The factory gauge option with it's flat mounting plate, looks cheap to me.

We included the optional gauge package as a dealer installed option. So far it's been very useful and we like the fact that it fills that empty void down there. The interior looks more complete to me, like the gauges should have been there as standard equipment.

We've never owned a car with an oil temperature gauge before but now we love knowing when the oil is up to temp for more spirited driving. The gauges were a little pricy but now we wouldn't be without them.
