| MINI2 Newbie | After meeting Hrach today for my second test drive, i'm "dumping" the other guy i was going to get the car through. Hrach at MINI of Peabody, MA is awesome, he's probably one of the most intelligent people i've ever met..asked him why he was selling cars...he said it was because he loved mini's so much. How many car dealers do you know that can speak 6 languages, knows history as well as my harvard graduate college professor, used to race mini's in the 60's in the UK, has owned around 30 mini's and has a mini museum? I'd like to see him go against any other MINI dealer in the country. There is no doubt in my mind he would make the others look like chumps. |

Offline | Well don't know anything about that, I'm getting my Mini through a program dealer in Germany for U.S. spec models. But I couldn't resist...my dog is named Mr. Peabody and he will surely be a Mini-guy. Now this is fun: |

| MINI2 Regular | Peabody is phenominal. I moved to Atlanta and cannot believe the diffference in the two dealerships. Kevin the service guy kicks *****. Don't ever worry about warranty work with those guys cause they know more than mini. Offline | Hi ATMINI. Welcome to the club. You're correct about Hrach and MOP in general. They are great. I see your MINI won't be here until 2004. Hope you can plan on joining us for MINIs On Top in June 2004. www.minisontop.com Missing my buddies Dan and Ed but glad I have two angel buddies , And on a quest to Right Secco's Wrongs |

| MINI2 Newbie | Thanks everyone. I'll definitley try to make it in June, Cape Cod MINI. I can't wait to get my car, I've been obsessing with it for a while now ( and no, not because of the 'Italian Job'..I'm from Europe, where the small car and mini culture have been around for a long time). I can't imagine waiting 4 more months for this car, but it will all pay off when I get to take that first drive from the dealership to my house I'm glad I have probably the best MINI dealership in the country 10 miles from my house. I don't go to harvard red03, sorry for the confusion. My history professor is a harvard graduate, thats what I meant. I'm actually applying to Brown for graduate school. |

Offline | CCM, Do you know *everyone's* birthday..!??! ATMINI, Where in Europe are you from..? There's plenty of ex-pats in the greater Boston area who know that Europe is made up of more than one country - not like those dumb Americans ![]() Welcome to the club, welcome to the area and look forward to seeing you on the roads! |

Offline | I think this is one of Steves greatest skills. Anyone *could* think to check the list at the bottom of the main MINI2 screen. But Steve is one of the only people who regularly notices peoples birthday. This is *NOT* meant to be sarcastic: Steve is a great person for being considerate to others. Just a nice guy I guess ![]() |

Offline | MINI of Peabody is the balls (which is a good thing). I ordered my S from them last month (due sometime in Jan '04). I made the deal on a weekend when Hrach wasn't in, but I spoke to him on the phone a couple of times before that, and he was really great. I currently have two Alfa Romeos (the one with 300,000km on the clock will be sold when the MINI arrives), and he knew my Alfa dealer and was able to chat intelligently about these unusual cars as well. I was impressed. It's over an hour drive from my house to Peabody, but there wasn't any question about where I should get the car. |

| MINI2 Regular | BTW: I am actively seeking a marketing manager or product marketing manager position, preferably in an audio or speaker related company, anywhere in the greater Boston area. If anyone has some leads, I'd love to talk to you. Thanks, Kurt /// The Kurtster /// ![]() UNION JACK OWNERS CLUB GB-0032 |

Offline | It's a good thing the U.S. is such a big place. I like the fact that lots of people want to live in places I would never consider. That leaves more room for me where I am comfortable. I did my time on the East coast. Rear view was my best perspective. To each their own, that is a great system. I'm a cynical guy by nature, this was as nice as I could be with a passionate subject. Please stay east... Now this is fun: |
