Blondie Fans - Can you do it...

Do you think it's humanly possible to listen "Hanging on the Telephone" full blast on the HKs while driving your MCS like you've got your granny in the back?

Can't do it... my right foot keeps red-lining the engine....

Any of you able to drive sedately and "nicely" (as my dad would say) while blasting out your fav. tune?

Thats just impossible....my Darkness CD gets me into all sorts of trouble....problem is turning the stereo off and listening to the supercharger whine gets me into even more trouble....

Try the Eagles. Not enough exhaust noise. I'm constantly accelerating faster than I think because the car doesn't make enough noise. Yea, the HK is blasting, but forget about granny sitting in the back, as she kicked the bucket 20 years ago. Don't remember for sure, but it was probably right after one of those trips to the doctor I had given her. The doctor was always perplexed that her blood pressure would be sky rocketing when she first arrived but then would settle down by the time she was leaving.

Sometimes I can't decide which CD to put in my HK, even for a 10 min drive to my girlfriend's or the supermarket or wherever. And then I can't decide if I should just listen to the supercharger instead I know I know, I'm a mess

My first CD was a mix I had made of some of my favorite songs, kept me from having to keep switching CD's to listen to a variety on the way home! Dave Matthews, Howard Jones, Blondie, U2, Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Lynyrd Skynyrd, had quite the variety going. Sounded great too!!!!!!

speaking of blondie - have you heard her new album: the curse of blondie? It's absolutely superb-- by far the best yet (IMO) !

This morning I'll mostly be listening to Pennywise, who, for those who don't know, are a very fast paced surf-rock-punk band. I strongly recommend a dose of that instead of blondie!!

I've been listening to Alice Martineau this past week, and have yet to come across anyone who doesnt like her music! Guaranteed enjoyment

Try playing track "The Right Time" up loud in the MINI and you'll be in another world

Too many to chose from; Blondie, The Pretenders, Patti Smith. Whatever makes you feel good. Long live "good" rock 'n roll.

I find playing "There's no-one quite like Grandma" quite good in these situations.

I think "Hanging on the Telephone" was written by the Nerves, so the related Plimsouls' "A Million Miles Away" might also be quite the match for speedy shifting in the chorus.

Maybe?
