The US brochure I got at the LA Auto Show describes the seating surface of Space Cloth seats as "dark grey", but in the picture posted by orie's_mini, it looks like bright silver. Paul's take on them was:

If they are indeed a bright silver rather than a more subtle grey, I may have to go with Leatherette.

Anyone who has seen these in the flesh wish to comment?

Paul, can you post the pictures of Space Cloth you took?

Yeah, the center portions of the Space Cloth seats look very light grey/silver and the bolsters are dark. When you choose this option on the MINIUSA configurator, it basically mirrors the those in the posted photo. I think they look nice enough for me to get them instead of the leatherette as I kinda like the contrast.

how the rear seats are going to look as a silver expanse.

Sure wish the red tartan was offered.
