Just wandering if anyone in the UK has filled in a build sheet for their S yet? Or even been told by their dealer that they need to fill one in now.

Nope - not yet, and my dealer has been been deathly quiet since handing over an 'S' brochure several months ago.

Might be time to give him a nudge!

Not yet (well, mostly not yet. My dealer sort of knows what I want, anyway). Bit tricky as we don't know the basics, like cost, option packs, etc.

BMW haven't opened up the computer system for Cooper S orders yet - rumoured to be the end of this month, early next. AS far as they see it, there's no rush as the early cars are all ging to be pre-specced (and aren't we all really, really happy about that one - putting our names down a year early in order to have a car in the spec that Mr. BMW decrees).

Yes the dealers have prices. No glossy handouts yet. The prices have just arrived!!

last Sunday I saw a test drive of an "Electric Blue"
in TV and I nearly changed my order to an "S".
A devils car !
Thanks god on Sundays the dealer has closed..

on Mondays my mind got clearer..to the health of bank account

I just spoke with my dealer asking him when he would have the prices in for the options on the Cooper S, he said that they would be in sometime this month and that basically he was expecting them anyday now and would be phoning me as soon as poss.

Then he phoned back about 30 mins later and asked me to give him the details of the car I want, so I specced my car as follows:

Dark Silver Cooper S
17" S Spoke Alloys
1/2 Leather Space Cloth Interior
Front Fog Lights
TLC

He gave me the price of £15,635 OTR

I am also going to add Floor Mats and the seat nets, he said we could fine tune this at a later date.

He is going to find out whether I can have the KALEIDO cloth instead of Space too.

The computer was giving a date of the 17th of July for my cars arrival. I am #4 on the list.

Also, he told me that each dealer was getting 5 pre-specced Cooper S's for the launch day, three of which they would be allowed to sell. They were all different specs.
