I'm seriously considering changing my current S colour preference to ALL silver. I like the Pure Silver Colour, but would like the white roof with it. This is not an option, and I don't want to paint a brand new roof, so I reckon an all silver S would look good, and give that floating roof look, which I really like. It would be a bit different too.

I guess it would look a little like this. The clear tail lights look good with the Pure Silver too......

Views anyone ?

Good work smiffy. I would hazard a guess that a white roof on Pure Silver was considered too close a paint match. Shame really........

The pure silver is the only color to go with if you do a solid color MINI. Very sweet.

I will be e-mailing my dealer on this very question on Monday LMB. I'm not keen on the black roof, as it kills the shape of the window area. In my point of view to visually split the glass area as light colours or a white roof does, is closer to the original design intention. If you then go a bit further and darken the glass (even though my tint is a practical addition) it will look sensational.

Yes. But $4700AU is a HUGE ask......even knocking off the $1100 for the S-spokes, still another $3600AU !!!!..... My spec is getting around $55,000AU + ........ might have to draw the line sometime soon...

If Oz Cooper S get that awful space cloth (although, I'm only going by pictures so far) I'll have to fork out for full leather as well.

Just seen a all silver MINI Cooper with the body kit, without the spotlights. I don't like it at all. Stick with your Dakar Yellow, more eyecatching than that piece of tin.

Well, i've got about 7 weeks before D-Day on the spec, I'd like to see a full silver one before making up my mind.

Cloth in cloth/leather seats in S in Oz is referred to as Satellite cloth. Is this same as Space cloth?
