I dunno what I should do...
I went to see my dealer today because there had been some official news on the 05s,
and found out that Hyper Blue won't be available until 1/05

I can either move forward with the order and get Black Eye Purple Haze,
or wait........

Don't even know if 'BlackEyePurpleHazeMINI' would be a valid username...

I like it more than any other MINI color I've seen to date, although there is an aura of mystery around BEP that's intersting, 1 small swatch and 1 night photo is all I've seen of it to date..

Mine is due for build on the 30th July and is now speced as Hyper Blue (instead of electric blue) so can't see why you cant get it.

I'm also considernig my options, since im also looking to buy an 05 MCS....

Colours, colours, colours....the biggest question when it comes to ordering an 05 (not to mention whether or not to wait till january for the LSD)...*sigh*

hope they come out with better pictures soon.

Have they started producing hyper blue cars yet?
My MCS convertible has a production week of 27/07 delivery 16/7 but I was suspicious because there has been no mention of hyper blue on Cowley visits. Any pictures/samples?(there is one confirmed picture in the News section of a MCS in hyper blue)

Yes HyperBlues are going through the paint shop now.

I live just round the corner from Mini, and in the pound there are hundreds of Convertibles
ready to go. Mostly in that horrible burnt orange colour and a dark blue colour ( dont think thats hyper blue??)

My mate also slated the electric blue colour. He said its a nightmare getting a match if a panel needs respraying.
So all you E.B. owners: Dont crash!!!
Incidently he said the best paint is the one on the dark silver

Here's an excerpt from a US dealer bulletin about the cabrio: "Hyper Blue available immediately for Cooper S Convertible. Available in 1/05 for the Cooper Convertible."

The bulletin about the hardtop lists availability 1/05. I guessing that they were referring to the Cooper and not the Cooper S. I would expect the Cooper S to be available with HB in the US starting from the 2005 MY change over.

Im waiting for my HB/W, got a delivery date to the dealers 16/7 so hopefully should be sometime the next week when i get my grubby little mits on it

I haven't seen a proper picture of HB other than a pic of a BMW bike which i've been told looks about right (thanks Aiden) and my other half thinks i'm mad ordering a car that i haven't seen properly yet

Since we are now seeing real-life pics of facelifted cars.... Can anyone say when (or actually IF) they began production of the new MC in it's various forms? Somewhere I heard it wouldn't be until July... but now evidence implies otherwise....

almost June.... just 6 more months.....

I have ordered a Cooper S convertible today, but I have not yet decided on a colour and as delivery won't be until Jan/Feb 05 whatever colour I order. The dealer told me I have until October to decide the colour and any extras.
