got this on order at the moment also with jcw and aero pack etc just arnt sure wether all black with tints all round will look ok or not advice appreciated

Firstly welcome to MINI2.....I'm sure you'll find all you need on here......???

Check out my gallery.......I've got an all black MCS albeit without the Aero kit.......

I don't have tints either, and be warned......the police are cracking down on cars with the front windows tinted.........I originally went for the factory privacy glass that tints the rear sides and rear window. Without having the front sides done it makes the car look a bit like a van.......... I ended up spending the dosh on the MFSW, which was better value and gets used twenty times a day!

have a look at www.johncooper.co.uk then clicked used MINI's. there's an all black jcw s with aero kit and tints. luvly lookin car in my opinion, it's got the 18" wheels too.

The only problem with this combo is that there's a fair few all black MCS JCW.

No doubt all Black looks the best, even more so at night. Its keeping it looking that way thats the hard part. (DUST) I have a black & white MC, wich shows the dust ten time more than my DS/MCS. But like I said nothing Looks better than all black.

Well we can say its the JCW image and that its only good taste Like the saying goes, great minds think alike

Mine should look identical to this but with 18" OZ Superleggeras, lowered on Eibachs and possibly chrome wing mirrors

Mine looks like that, minus the wheels, the sunroof and the aero kit.....!!! Oh and the JCW kit as well......

Mine does have the spotlights though......and I'm gonna add the chrome mirror caps too......hahaha!

thanks for the replies and pics its not that im undecided on the color just wether the tints will make it look abit ott would really like the jcw wheels aswell but it is already at about £24000 so cant really spend anymore only wanted to spend £20000-£21000 to start with

My JCW MCS is coming to around £23K theres alot of junk you don't need, not that it is junk, eg the Sunroof @ £600 is a fair wod, and its something I rarely use in my current car, and the JCW wheels at £1500 a too expensive, I'm getting my 18" SuperLs at £1200 with Toyo Tires, then you you have the sale of your 17s, I'm looking to get £600ish for em as they will only have delivery miles.

I've thought real hard about some of the options and decided to not go for some of them, eg HK, MFSW, SATnav, Rain Sensor Pack, PDC, and heated seats. I have my reasons, eg with MFSW how hard is it to change volume anyway? SATnav £1410 for something that only does satnav and no DVD too pricey; PDC does such a small car need it? Heated seats well would be nice but I've lived without it just fine soo far. Rain Pack, is it such a taks to switch the the wipers on?

If you've noticed I like rawness, but don't get me wrong I've ordered electric wing mirrors and I've got the chilli pack of course, don't wanna be too bare bones

i have only got the Rain Sensor Pack out of tose you mention agree about the mfsw as i dont have it now wont miss it however if i take of rhe tints at £250 all round i might put it on
does anyone know when it is to late to change your order

I thinks you have either a month or 2wks bfore delivery date if you are based i nthe UK, best to check with your dealer though.

My all black JCW S has got

rain pack, (nice but non essential in my opinion)
sunroof, (too noisy at speed (even flipped)),
HK (worth having if you dont go after market),
Chilli (a must),
6 disc CD Changer (nice option),
winter pack (again nice, but liveable without),
Tinted rears (nice but again do you really need them bearing in mind you cant do the fronts?)
Chrome Wing Mirrors (They definitely add something to the car in my opinion)

So in all honesty do you need much other than the Chilli and the boost/CD player... Possibly not.
I paid £19,999 for a 6 month old demo with 4.5k miles on the clock and think this was a good deal.

I am more interested in what I can now add to it
i.e. Chrome ring interior (done), whalen shift (awaiting dely), lowered springs, alloys (possibly Oz super-l's), BMP intake (done), clear rear lights etc.

So the options list is important but think carefully, it soon ramps up & a lot of it is certainly non essential in my honest opinion - the only thing I really wish I could have is possibly leather. Then again, all I need to do is keep an eye out for a scrapper to find those
