Offline | Cool! What dealer? Also, based on my calculations, week 31 should be around the first week of August, is this right? You’re the first person reporting a ’05 built week; I would’ve guessed your built week would be closer to early July. Why the extra 4 weeks? Thanks. Last edited by JFS : May 27th, 2004 at 03:10 AM. |

Offline | I managed to swing an offer of an August delivery when I upgraded from a Mini Cooper order est July 10th. I agreed Sept 1st for the MCS as that way I get the new reg. Should have been November, but I was nice to them. Need to decide colour and finalise this week - just going for MCS with Chili and Boost CD, fitting aftermarket Multichanger later. Looking at Chili red with white bonnet stripes or utterly black with silver stripes. 54 Plate All Black Cooper S with Chilli, BoostCD, MFSW, Heated bits.http://www.evoposters.net/carsb/album43 |

Offline | You can order an 05 Cooper S now @ Crevier mini and get it in 4 months and pay $5000 over MSRP or you can wait 10 months and get it @ MSRP from Long Beach Mini. Or you can order it out of state and get it in 4 months @ MSRP. |

| MINI2 Regular | johnsocal - i went to crevier last week and asked them about ordering an s, they said 3 months and no markup, but like u said its hard to believe. they had a ds/ds with three packages and sat nav (no leather or anything) and wanted 30k for it, soooo overpriced. 98 E320 Limo, Chrome Factory Wheels, Indash 7" Clarion Touchsreen. Offline | I wouldn't worry too much about the lack of contact on finalizing, by a dealer's standard, they don't know pricing, and don't know exactly what options will be available, so they can't finalize your order quite yet. I'd expect something in the next week, but you can always call Classic up here and see what they're up to. My sales guy is supposed to call me Monday or Tuesday to finalize my '05 specs. Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball. |

| MINI2 Regular | Thank you Stryder, I feel better knowing someone else is anxiously prepping and I am not being left out I thought for sure they would have all the options-packages ready to choose, just not the final prices? I won't bicker on the price, just let me see the new options ...LOL Phil |

Offline | Perhaps I'm Missing the boat here, but... ...how can US dealers formally order 05 MINIs when no official word from M-USA has been announced, and the configurator has not been updated? I know dealers have 05 spec sheets, but the one I saw had no prices finalized and clearly said "subject to change." How can a dealer ethically take your money and order a car that technically does not exist? Please clarify. My dealer Schomp (Denver) can't place orders yet because they have no offical guidelines from the mothership nor do have any allocation numbers. They can take $$ to get you on their very long list, they can sit down and answer preliminary questions based on the information they've recieved, but according to the manager NO orders are being placed until build year info is finalized and announced; the manager doesn't even expect new color swatches and literature and pricing until after July 1. So what gives? Why do I hear about US dealers speccing 05 cars that technically are still in limbo? Am I missing something here in all this build year transition confusion? Jimbo PS Hyper Blue is NOT available now--whoever said that is wrong. You have to wait until 1/05. |

| MINI2 Master BLASTER!!!!! | Yeah its my 2nd MINI, I had a MINI Cooper that got totalled by a recless young boy racer after only owning the car for 5hours ![]() The mofo didn't have any insurance either, so here I am back again looking to get my MCS. I'm not getting a convertable, weather isn't great in the UK after summer monthes and its not as practical for me, I need a lil bit of boot space ![]() Its annoying that MINI decide to bring something cool out after you've ordered your car! I'm not really too fussed about the Auto, but the LSD would've been nice, oh well I'll be very happy nonetheless especially if I decide to get the JCW, currently tho I think the cost outweighs the benefits![]() Good luck you lucky ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ! You'll have the option to have LSD, Armrest and Auto, not to forget Hyper Blue aswell. |
