Question How much is everyone paying for their Cooper S?

Just wondering what kinda prices ppl are paying now so I can see if I can afford one. My price range is 20 to 27, what are the chances of me getting a MINI S this year?

Depends on what position you hold on a waiting list.

MSRP plus $600 for crap I don't want. No sexual favors for GM have been requested, but they usually try to suprise you with something when you are scheduled to pick up the car.

Chili Red / Black Roof Cooper "S", delivered Aug 5, 2002.

I am paying MSRP, luckily cause i was able to scratch the otherwise "mandatory" dealer option of $2500 for mats, CD changer, and a Mini COoler. My dad knows the GM very well and we've bought a couple of cars there before, plus he said he'd throw the mats in later anyways! Mine comes over the pond in a few weeks, so i'm about a month from seeing her. It was a Pre-Spec which someone had dropped, and luckily no-one had picked up yet, Silver/Black with Sports Package! So i'm excited and can't wait

Hi everyone.

Glad to be finally posting on such a great site and forum.

Im in pretty much the same boat as you Basil, total cost on the road (excluding aftermarket tint) :

$53,641.00

aussie dollars, and with the terrible exchange rate at the moment, that equates, in US Dollars, to about the same price as a Big Mac!

I have no doubt it will be worth every cent!

MSRP + $299 delivery surcharge applicable to all new cars they sell, not MINI-specific. Excellent staff, attitude, and service--Lauderdale MINI. If your "LA" means Los Angeles, you'll find that may be rare in your area, except possibly the Long Beach dealer.

Good to know that almost every1 is paying MSRP or at least around it. If I were to get on the waiting list now (which is kinda late), think I'll be waiting till next year? I'm still torn between the Red or the Dark Grey, for sure Sports Package, sunroof, black gravity leather, and onboard computer..... MSRP=23750 DG or MSRP=23350 CR... is that what every1's getting too???

my car is MSRP...the guy said if i get a spec car then it will stay that way. nobody will touch it and the salesperson said if someone touches the car he'll kill em himself. =)
