What would you do.???

We had our test drive of the Cooper Cabrio this morning and was really impressed on how better the build quality has got since the early days anyway heres where we have a problem you see we did'nt notice it when arriving at the dealership, but on there forecourt is a 7 month old with 3400 miles showing a GLEAMING Indie Blue with a Black roof Cooper S WRKS thats fully loaded with all the toys....well apart from full leather and auto aircon its got the manual version instead.

Heres the crunch.....we have until Monday to decide on what to pick up on Saturday 10/7 at 12pm........

So de we decide on the Cooper S Wrks or the Cooper Cabrio.......help.!

The Cooper S Wrks is also £500 cheaper than the Cabrio.!

What would you do .????????

The sun doesn't shine that much in England, but you can always go fast. Get the works.

I agree - unless you absolutely want the Cabrio, I would go with the JCW car. Most of us have the problem of being able to afford adding the Works kit, but you would be getting it for less than you were planning to spend. I crunch the numbers daily trying to come up with creative accounting to add the Works kit

I'd vote for the Works too .....was it a demo, or a trade in?

One of the flithy rich people in Royal TunbridgeWells decided owning 5 cars was just one to many.

Just sold it back to the dealership.

So your convertible is ready next week?

Car is for Ann I assume? What would she prefer? I suppose like my wife, she probably isn't into performance, she might prefer the 'coolness' of the cabrio?

Personally, I still like the pre-facelift cars. And JCW is a bonus - I'm 99.99% going to have it fitted myself in the next couple of weeks.......

And if you have any doubts about build quality, don't - my car is built like a tank............

I am in a similar position, I have my JCW S, but have an S Cabrio scheduled for Dec build....
If it is any help at the mo I am swaying toward keeping the JCW and not having the convertible....unfortunately my mind changes by the hour....

DINGER: WE have talked about this before on another thread (Auto with Paddles). Yes you always can upgrade to the WORKS ....................BUT............There is not a way to upgrade to the CABRIO.
Therefore get the Cabrio and later you have many choice of performance options in the months ahead.
Maybe JCW will decide in 2005 to change to a larger HP conversion. Then how will you feel?
Go for the Cabrio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plus, the cabrio is way cooler

Dinger,

Don't let your head rule your heart.

Go with the car that your heart desires and not the one that seems to make the most sense.

Don't analyse it and weigh up all the pros and cons, just listen to your heart.

We've checked the insurance costs between the two and there really not alot in it.I also checked the price on MINI cherish and there asking price is very good for the Works S.
