a new function for rear foglights

So, being a new motorist, and a new manual transmission motorist, i have problems with rolling back (as most people do). I dont know about the rest of hte world, but people here like to get right up on your boot when your at a stoplight. Now this is a problem (and an annoyence when a GIANT SUV is behind you) and your on a hill or incline.

I figured out that Most Americans dont have anyidea what real foglights are....

I have found, when im stopped at night (and or dusk/dawn) and someone is comin up and starting to get a lil close i turn on my rear foglights....if they continue to creep forward ill flash then a few times. For the most part this works. People usually appear really confused.

just thought i would share a lil bit of motor fun for you all
and to all the Americans out there....Happy 4th.

Lol! thanks. I too have the rear fogs. I usually use it coming into a corner, I turn them on about 200 feet before I start braking, that way when I threshold brake, people don't crash into me.

The trick is to use the parking/hand brake before releasing the foot brake, and only release it as you're pulling away (when you see the nose of the car dip slightly).

I don't have a MCS, but i find it best if you shift into first, then have clutch down, handbrake up but with thumb pushing buttond own, other foot on the gas, and its like working all 3 peddles at once, when you want to go just move all 3 at once (release the clutch and give a bit of gas as you lower your handbrake)
