Offline | Anyone did not get the leather upholstery? Hi, just wonder anyone did not get the leather upholstery and chose either the cloth or leatherette? How is the quality of them? Any pic can share? Thanks. |

Offline | I chose cloth for two main reasons: 1) Cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter than leather or leatherette 2) It's a no-cost option so I saved $1300 (which is a complete waste of money IMO) No pics yet but once I take delivery I'll be sure to post some ![]() |

Offline | Thanks, guys. Looks like the cloth is tighter than the leatherette and quality is better. From one of the pics I viewed before, the leatherette seems a bit loose on the seat. |

Offline | I've got the leatherette and really like it. I have small kids so it's the best for them, very easy to clean. I went with the seat heaters for winter. 2004 CR/W MCS, Premium, Cold, Auto Dimmer/Wiper Last edited by CecilCooper15 : Jul 5th, 2004 at 07:04 PM. |

Offline | I would like to point out that the leatherette is not looser than the cloth. The leather, however, is looser. I specifically chose the leatherette option after years of cars with leather (would crack and get loose over time) and cloth (would get dirty and fuzzy despite cleaning). My mother has the MB Tex in her 1997 C230, and even after all these years looks brand new. My MCS now has 7,500 miles, and despite abuse from me, and my dog, a quick wipe with a damp cloth brings the seats back to new. Also, the leatherette does not hold smells (and if you had a 115 pound Yellow Labrador Retriever, you would understand!) My recommendation is go with the leatherette. Get the heated seats for winter, and the cloth seat covers for summer. 2004 Dark Silver S Sport Pack, Premium Pack, Winter Pack, Navi |

Offline | I chose the leatherette beacuse of the substantial cost savings. It looks and feels great though, and I am VERY happy with it. I'd be lost if I had somewhere to be! |
