Hesitation- is this normal?

Hi Folks,
we have a 2004 MCS. When I floor it in first, shift into second and floor it again, it hesitates- then accelerates. This does not seem right. I don't redline it in first, but give it enough that there should be no problems. Anyone else experienced this? Any ideas?

Cheers,

P&K.

If you are shifting quickly and trying to put the power down too fast with DSC on and one of your wheels loses traction then you will lose power until the wheel regains grip. If you have the DSC then switch it off and see if it still does it. I had this problem and it worked for me, (or you can just put the power down more gradual )

Cheers
