Anyone know when an aftermarket unit is going to be available? Perhaps from MINI? My mirror flops around if you touch it and I would dearly like an auto dim feature.

It MAY become available as a replacement when the auto-dim mirror/rain-sensor combination splits up with Jan '05 production. If that is a possibility, it may still take a couple of months afterward for them to need replacement parts, but I don't know if it'll be retrofittable for sure at all, so keep your fingers crossed.
