Offline | New Here Just a quick post to say hello. Have enjoyed lurking on here for a while. Decided to order a Cooper S at the weekend. Getting it next month. Gone for a pre spec as most of you seem to want your own spec, leaving short lead times for the rest of us ![]() The pre spec was pretty close to my ideal spec anyway. Went for the dark silver with white roof. Only the white alloys are not for me, so some replacements need to be sourced. Just need to find some nice ones. Very disapointed by the official Mini offerings. Hoping that some power upgrades become available soon as 165bhp doesnt really cut the mustard, but 200 should. It was the lure of 200bhp that got me anyway. Mark He Drove it but couldnt Putt it Audi RS4 ex Cooper S |

Offline | Its going to be interesting to see what its like in the twisties. Ive come from an E46 M3 SMG, which obviously has loads more go. My main problem there is that the fun really starts at 3 figures. Not good in Mr Plods eyes Test driving the std Cooper did show how nice it was on turn in. I wanted more power to get me into trouble, but it wasnt there, so I really didnt give it 100% on the bends.Looking out for the first available power upgrade. Ive gone for Pre Spec 4. It doesnt look like I'm the only M3 driver adding a Cooper S to their collection either. Seems to be gathering a fan base on their BBS. Mark He Drove it but couldnt Putt it Audi RS4 ex Cooper S |
