other then the dealership? My dealer wants $8200CAD for the engine components, and $3500CAD none painted/installed!

Apparently, the JCW is available only from "authorized" MINI dealers.

I might suggest to call around to many MINI dealers (no pun intended), it doesn't matter where you buy it, your local dealer will probably install it and it's covered by the warranty.

They ain't cheap, as you've found!

My local dealer told me they wouldn't install the JCW tuning kit for me if I purchased it elsewhere........worth checking before you take the plunge.

hmmm, the nearest MINI dealership is in regina. Or the one in edmonton...which will open in summer.
