How many people ordered Sport Pack (US only)?

I ordered an S with sport package and have seem the delivery date move back.

I would like to know how many people ordered their car with the sport package.

It will give us all a better idea of the demand.

I ordered the sport package on April 29. After being informed that it was delayed for an inexact amount of time, I cancelled it and ordered some of the items ala carte (DSC and Fog lamps) but did not order the 17" wheels. My production date went ahead one week after I did this.

I planned to order the sports pack but, I was able to lock in a pre-spec car that already had it and the premium pack. The only thing missing was the HK STereo. I can live with that (add an amp and a changer myself).

I originally committed to a pre-spec car that had the sport package. When I checked on it in the owners lounge the sport package was absent. Build date on this car was May 17th. Then I special ordered a car with the Sport package. The original build date was June 7th. The following day the build date was moved out to July 5th. According to MINI USA, this had nothing to do with parts shortages or Xenon headlights.

We spec'd a Sport pack on our S but we're not expecting it until the 2003 build anyway. We've got the regular Cooper to keep us motoring until then..!

I spec'd out a sport pack and estimated build date in july with August delivery. Hopefully it wont get pushed back, havent gotten a production # yet.

We spec'd an S in March with the sport pak, but are getting a couple options like the HK and rain sensing wipers that are delayed until Sept. anyway. So it'll probably be a 2003. Maybe some of the bugs I've read about on this message board will be worked out by then!

We have. The "Delphinus Leader" is scheduled to dock in Port Heueneme, California on 6/11. As a matter of fact, from the shipping records, I can tell you that there appears to be 58 Cooper S's on the boat. (How many of those of have sport packages is anyone's guess.)

Liquid Yellow Cooper CVT -w- white roof & mirrors and sport package, leatherette, xenons and 16" 5-Star alloys (in our hot little hands) + one new replaced windshield that BMW/MINI refuses to cover under the warranty; and,

Dark Silver Cooper S -w- white roof & mirrors, premium & sport packages and lapis blue/leather due in mid June ... it looks like we got lucky!

I have a "S" on order with the Sports Package - June 7th production date - July delivery. On the Owner's Lounge Specifications section I have to scroll down to see the Sports Pkg listed. This option has caused on delays on my order.

I have a Sport pack S on order, with a July 5 build date assigned. The sport pack option is still intact, according to the Owner's Lounge, but my dealer encouraged me to keep an eye on it.

I have a Cooper with the Sport Package. I like the combo of the Sport suspension with the less harsh ride of the 16" wheels and run-flats.

My MCS came a week late but I don't feel that had anything to do with the ordering of the sport package. Even if I had to wait I would still have ordered it. Why would you not get the best MINI you can? Don't sell yourself short just to get the car a little sooner. Sport package is money well spent, and in this case time well invested.
