Ordered my MCS in October 04 and have now got to wait until end of April before I get my hands on it !! - Anyone else waiting any longer ?

Well,i first ordered in early July,going to August production,and since then it has been delayed.But started production on January,and hopefully i will receive it in early March,so i know very well what you mean.Of course,in the meantime i change spec 2 or 3 times

Look on the bright side; you will be taking your old car out in all the salt and road muck and you can save the new car for the spring. I only thought of this because I've just had to wash all of the salt off the all of the chrome bits on mine.

Hey, I've "waited" to get a MINI since the unforgettable MCS test drive last July.
Due to my finances I've not been able to get mine yet, but hopefully getting a MINI this spring! I'd probably buy a used one (not One but Cooper or Cooper S ), because just can't wait any longer, and it's also a little bit cheaper. MINIs are so expensive in here.

Exactly the same as me, I ordered mine mid October, April 22nd before the dealer gets it!! The wait is terrible. I at first managed by reading the brochure every night, trying hard to keep saving, now I have got to the point where it feels like it is never going to happen, the weeks are being counted down on the whiteboard at work, and I have got bored of saving and just ordered a new computer for viewing the MINI2 forum on and am thinking about buying a new digital camera to take pictures of my MCS when it does come. This wait is now costing me a fortune.
Forgot to mention that the first couple of months were helped along by frequent visits to the dealer adding on more options and more £££££

Ordered mid August '04 due at dealers mid April '05......8 months of pure hell....have read everything on these forums 10 times over,bought all car mags with Mini pics on the cover and changed my spec a dozen times....Meantime my current cars battery needed replacing and the tax and mot expire two weeks before the Mini arrives....I'll be a wreck by the end of April (but a happy one though!)
