Offline | Wanted Bullets, but not getting Bullets :( Slightly gutted that my march 05 MCS is coming with S-Spokes, and I can't change em apparently. I asked about changing them to Bullets ages ago and they said they had done it, but order form still said S-Spoke because apparently the system at the time didn't have the Bullets listed as part of the Chili pack. I checked last month and the sales girl said, yes it would be Bullets I queried this yesterday again to make sure this was still the case and I've been told today that I'm getting S-Spokes as thats whats on the order and its currently being built so I can't change them. This I don't understand as wheels are damn easy to change??! I do like S-Spokes and when I ordered thats all there was. So its not going to ruin my car or anything, but I do slightly prefer the bullets, plus they're lighter. The girl who sold me the car is away on a course and won't be back til next Monday when they're gonna ask her what was going on. Maybe they'll be able to resolve something.. otherwise its S-Spokes.. Anyone know if there's anything I can do? Its my word against theirs, and the order form says S-Spokes, all I really got was a verbal confirmation from the sales girl that it would come with Bullets. |

Offline | Just been to my dealer today, my order form still says S-spokes but I've been told I WILL get the bullets I asked for, as they are now standard for the chilli pack. AFAIK you now get bullets unless you ask for S-spokes You asked for them so they should supply them |

Offline | I must admit I had trouble trying to decide between the 2 styles as I like them both. I only really selected the Bullets for the weight aspect. Ah well, I'll get what I get I suppose. Car will look great regardless |

Offline | All I can say is go for the Bullets if you can! They are a hell of alot easier to clean!! (ie. you can get all of the inside of the wheel clean as well. They look good as well IMO. |

Offline | Grimbo you must stand firm! Yes of course things are better in writting......but you can't be blammed for dealer error..and lets be clear it's dealer error here. Their default reaction must not be that your'e a liar or that your mistaken. The car can arrive with S-spokes and then they do the swap with an extra ordered set (bullets in your case) in order to clear up their mess. Stand Firm !! |

Offline | Yep, I've decided that too. But I want to give the salesgirl the benefit of the doubt on Monday. See what she has to say as she's away on a course this week. If she tells the truth (which I think she will as she seemed very sound indeed) then that may change stuff. After that, its letter time. We are thinking about using the fact that my girlfriend also has a Mini on order with them as leverage. I don't wanna get into a ruck with the sales girl, but am perfectly prepared to argue with her manager. |

Offline | Wanted Bullets, but not getting Bullets :( - Sorted!! :) Sales girl called me today to inform me that her manager was talking bull. The bullets as ordered will be on the car. She had written it on the order herself back in December and it had been processed. Her manager had simply not bothered to check it out, or ring BMW before telling me that I could whistle for my alloys. However, having rung BMW, they put her facts straight! Hyper Blue + Bullets Very happy!! |

Offline | I was debating a change to bullets / other wheels myself a while back, but i now don't think the bullets suit the hatchback mini at all the fact of the matter is I have yet to find a wheel that suits the mini as well as s-spokes do (with the exception of R90's!) ![]() |

Offline | Good to hear that you got what you wanted. For some reason, I don't like the looks of the S spokes myself. I like the bullet wheels much better. I sort of had the same problem with my rear fog light. I asked my salesperson a month before the car went into production for them and when the car was delivered, no rear fog. Then my salesperson said that they would install them for $150.00. I wasn't very happy. ![]() |

Offline | It took me ages to decide as I love both styles. Know what you mean though, the S-Spokes are definately a lot more Mini! Being as I liked both, I chose down to practicality. Bullets are lighter. But both look fab ![]() |
