I have found it harder choosing the interior of my car than I have the colour. At first there was no contest, 1/2 leather/Satellite (Black/Black) but as time has gone on I have changed my mind about 1000 times.

My S is spec'd with panther black gravity leather. Should compliment the red/black paint scheme and black door panels quite nicely. The other leather with the bumps felt strange to the touch.
I saw the red/black space cloth in a Cooper and it was quite "busy" looking.

Actually, the cloth offered in the Cooper is called Kaleido Cloth, for its "kaleidoscope" pattern. Space Cloth has no pattern.

Drove one yesterday.......looks fine in my opinion. When you open the door, the colour doesn't clash. Got to give BMW some credit here I think, for getting the colour right. If EB is your thing, I'm sure you wouldn't be dissapointed with your Lapis Blue interior. Whether it's leather or Satellite Cloth.

No mate, only the full leather version in the demo. I've seen the blue satelitte cloth on a swatch, and it's much nicer than I thought it would be.

(By the way, I'll be posting small verions of 14 or so photo's that spazz has just sent me (all 15 megabytes of them) from his extended test today. They are superb 2048 x 1536 x 24bit photo's of a Dark Silver/White w/- sunroof & S-spokes and an EB/white with white X-lites) Full blue lapis leather interior. DS looks stunning in what are the BEST photo's i've seen of this car to date)
