Nice car OJM. I picked up my Dark Silver 03 MCS on Saturday after a long, long wait due to a poor, poor Stratstone dealer. Black roof, black caps, Dark leather, chilli pack, washer jets, spots etc. Absoloutely love it. May have to have a spin during lunch!!

I've had to dark silver S's in 5months.

The 05 had full leather and CD Changer. The 2nd one , 06) is a hi-spec Cooper S with Works interior, Sparcos, JCW mfsw etc, h/k and sunroof. Milltek, Works airbox

Got ride of the 05 due to having alot of problems with it plus warrenty was up in July 08 with TLC, while the other one had over 3 1/2yrs TLC left and new the pervious owner of here.

Hi Poodle, unsure if the upgrades are worth it or not. got to say that im still in the early stages of wonership and not had much chance to get on some quality backroads and blast it. so for now im not thinking of any performance mods. My next mod is rear sun screens as a cheap and convenient alternative to having them tinted. Let me know how you get on if you do get Stage 1 Lohen!!

MCS looks mint. How does the exhaust sound/feel over the original.

thanks,exhaust sounds really good really deep to start with then screams near top of revs,
its loads more responsive aswell.

Are you getting any hello's from other MCS Drk Slvr drivers in your area? There seems to be a reluctance in my area for MINI people in general to say HI !! Apart from another DrkSlvr/Black MCS but that's a gimme!!

Hi All,

Just to say that after a couple of weeks of ownership, the rear/side window blinds are excellent and a very good option over window tinting!

Totally worth the money (although was a gift!!) It really adds to the overall look and also keeps the car cooler (not that we have the weather).
