Offline | I'm in the oh-so-painful waiting period. 6 weeks and counting. 2005 DS/B Premium Package Cold Weather Package Cloth Seats Anthracite Trim Front Fogs Rear Fogs Xenon Headlights Chrono Gauge Pack Limited Slip Diff The downside of having to wait is all of the modding plans you make to kill time. The first mod will be a set of light-weight 16 x 7 wheels with Falken Azenis Sport tires. Either the SSR Competitions or OZ Superleggras. |

Offline | Thanks dude! I am so happy with it - I just took it out to pick up a friend from the airport and its just an awesome ride - LOVE IT. The iPod adapter is really nifty - you do need to set up lists that start with MINI1, MINI2, etc, through MINI5, but after that designation, you can name them whatever. The only thing it won't support are those "on the go" lists you can make on the ipod itself. The MFSW will control the iPod (read the little pamplet if you get it) and the sound quality is great. I was also nervous about the dash coming apart, however the techs said they've put an iPod adapter in nearly every MINI sold since the adapter became available. Very popular. So they're quite good at putting it in. You won't regret it if you get it. Do make sure it is possible to use it the H/K system - I have heard conflicting reports on that.... |

Offline | Hello all, first post for me. Put a deposit down on a dark silver Mini Cooper S. Still waiting to pick up - 2 more weeks. Decided to register so I can start learning about the Mini. Will update with more info as soon as I drive it home from the dealership. It should be a nice upgrade from my current car: 96 Civic EX. My 3rd car is a Honda S2000. Can't wait to compare the S2000 vs the MiniS. Last edited by dupercuper : Mar 26th, 2005 at 01:09 AM. |
