Yeah, I know what you mean - I love it when my roof is all nice & shiney & you get the Black just shining through in between the Union Jack . Think I'm gonna treat her to a nice wash this weekend - gave her a nice polish & wax the other week & she was blingin'

I've got hockey all day tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to waxing on Sunday . Have a feeling this could be one of the last ones before the cold kicks in properly

Shouldn't you wax before you play hockey . That's why I did mine a couple of weeks ago - took about 6 hours in total

What a pain in the rear! Have you had a lot of good weather? What is it with this country and hosepipe bans?!

I'm sure that was very tedious...

Yeah a real pain - we have had a lot of nice weather, so can't complain too much . I had to wait til the afternoon too so that she was in the shade, cos it takes so long to wash, the water dries too quickly & you get those horrible water spots that are a bugger to get rid of

They are - it's a very responsible thing, being a MINI owner, & I think the hosepipe ban is to test my faith in the MINI religion

You know your right they do look mint when they are polished up. These pics were taken at the Northwest Motorshow 2004 and one is in the lakes guess wich?. I am about to sign out of this thread and move to the Hyper Blue registry in October, i will miss this car I have had it for two years and it has got under my skin much more the the MINI One I had previously.

By the way DS/DS look really good to the earllier poster.

Very nice - I'm sure we will allow you in as an honourary DS owner . I notice that you have the chrome tailgate handle - don't suppose you have any 'rear on' pictures do you, as I am thinking of getting one for mine?

I assume you mean astraight on back shot I had a real laugh rooting through my pictures for one if you want a clearer pic I can easily sort that out for you. I had the full chrome pack it hadnt long been out whem I got it and it was well priced I never did like the colour keyed bits on dark cars.

See they look good dirty as well this was after a cross country trip to Nottingham and back through the dark peaks in winter.

Hmm maybe you cant see the chrome.

Nope still no chrome!

There you go at the top of the Horseshoe pass on woberts wales run
