I'm thinking of getting Rota Subzeros with the grey finish (they look similar to the R99's, but with a polished lip). So how does the 2006 compare to the 2004 JCW? How big is the dropoff in performance? Are you thinking of adding the JCW to your 2006? That's the other thing I'm torn with--I love my 2006 MCS, and I've never driven the JCW--still trying to decide wether to add the kit. |

I have had it for 2 and a half years and have not really done that much to it. 2003 DS MCS Added Black Stripes Black Stripes Remus Exhaust Aux kit for ipod Glove box tidy I have some full leather seats ready to go so I will put them when I get a chance.... I am also thinking about Alta Air, a pulley and MTH... maybe also a slight lowering wheels.. and perhaps a tint.... we'll see.. I keep talking about it but am very lazy. -Dan  |

Offline   | Tomorrow, I will wash Stella and get you that side pic.  As for perfomance, I can only really tell a difference in 4/5/6th gear - she doesn't push me back like Eleanor (the '04 JCW) did. She sensed my dissapointment, and agreed to some surgery - like the Stage 1 kit with the 2% crank pulley from WMS (Webb Motorsports). Mmmm.... rougly 205hp  So... the JCW (over here at least) power at a third of the cost. Randy's got a warranty with his stuff, so I feel good about that. (Basically saying that I missed the extra kick the JCW gave me in the upper gears.) Doug You can have my MINI when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.  |

We fell in love with the car some 3 years ago when Mini was first launched here. Mileage is some 1100km now. It's a great little car and a blast to pilot. Now we're debating what graphics to decor car with...ideas anyone? We're most delighted to be part of Mini's worldwide community! June and Tim |

Offline |  Got mine Tuesday!! Hi there!! I got my brand spankin MCS DS/B on tuesday and I love it!! I just added the Chilli Pack, arm rest, darkened glass, visibility pack and chrome interior.... Had a Cooper for 3-years but this really is the business!! Will post pics soon!! |

Offline | Purchased 05 Dark Silver with chilli pack and visability pack and a few other extras. 170bhp, LSD etc... Much better than the 02 model I had before!!!! I didnt think they could improve on the 02 model BUT THEY DID!!!! I'm all upset coz I've got to sell it now (I need the money as babies are proving expensive!!!) |
