United-States My new MCS is here

This is my first post here. I read many a post here before I bought my 2005 MCS Chili Red from Mini of the Hamptons. I took advantage of their $500 shipping instead of picking it up. I received it Thursday night and have put over 750 Miles on so far in 4 days. I love everything about it so far. I do have one question, I went to put a CD into the drive and noticed there was already a CD in the drive, a Red Hot Chili Peppers best 10 series. Has anyone else received a free Cd or did maybe a MA or someone else forget it when they were checking out the Stereo? Here are a couple pics I took today.

Nice! I would assume that someone left it in there. I have never seen one come with Free CDs.

I assumed the same thing, although I thought the Chili red color and the group name red hot chili peppers was maybe a small coincidence.

Looks great!

I didnt get a CD in the car myself - but like you say - Chilli Red and Red Hot Chilli Peppers? Too much of a coincidence I reckon

Someone must have been listening to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers whilst they were PDI-ing your new S. I bet he/she realises that they must have lost their CD that way by now.

I'd listen to it for a while and then contact them and offer to post it back!

Tigger.

I did get a CD with my car. I had a choice of four different ones, each a different genre of music. I don't know that I've ever played it, though.

CR/W is a classic combo. Congrats. I think at one point MINIUSA was letting people spec a first drive CD, but that RHCP CD has to be a deliberate plant. Call MoH, they'll tell you.

The MA I dealt with is on vacation this week, I will call and find out for sure next week. I do appreciate all the responses I have gotten so far.

its so funny you should mention that because i had the same cd in my cd player....and im in the uk i never thought about this again till now...

how strange is that... either a big coincidence or bmw use the same demo cds to show the stereo's sound to the customers? whatever it is...its rather strange...

Whoa, a FREE CD? That'd be sweet. I was wondering why they had some on display--and all kinds of stuff. They even had John Coltrane's Blue Train, which what I would pick! Thanks for the tip! Beautiful motor, btw!

Hang up and drive!
