| MINI2 Master | Today I bought one of these "Cooper S" things lol So today, having wanted a Cooper S as long as I've had my Cooper. I decided to buy one. I was going to wait and buy a new one then I came across one with a spec I quite fancied and decide to take a look. Well. It's all black with Chilli Pack, R90's, leather interior, panoramic roof, harmon kardon CD, aircon, AST, multifunction steering wheel. I can't even remember what else I was so excited. Its the same age as my Cooper and there was a few more miles on it, I'm trading it in for €6,900 which seems like a good deal. These are the pics from their website. click I've to wait till Wednesday or Thursday, I'm so happy ![]() ![]() |

| MINI2 Master | Oh no....I know someone who works for another BMW dealership and he's pretty convinced they're ripping me off. Their giving me €22,000 for mine. I paid €29,500 15 months ago. There are Cooper's advertised online same age and milege as mine for €26,000, but mines got the R90's and the xenons etc. I'm gonna have to think more about this. Is anyone well up on this stuff? ![]() |

The bootom line Lou, if you like it then go for it as long as you can afford it there will always be what-ifs ![]() good luck and the one above looks the best colour to have by far ![]() Does my @rse look big in this broom broom |

Offline | yeah, that sounds like a plan- can you not go to the guy who is offering you 22, then go back to the first to buy the S? Or is 22 a trade in price? As Speedd says, why not have a look and see what the 2nd guy can offer you MINI-wise. Having said that though, I know what it's like to have your heart set on a particular one, and anything you see after that just doesn't quite fit the bill. Bit of a dilemma that. Hard decision, but keep us up to date with what you decide to do ![]() |

| F43i0 | Your always gonna get less of the garages than if you sell it privately. They never give you the best trade in value, especially in Dublin.A friend of mine changed her cooper to cooper s this year and they gave her a bad deal on her cooper but she has the s now and is as happy as ever! She tried to sell it privately at the price she wanted but nobody was interested. At least if you sel it to the garage and something hoes wrong you wont have anybody knocking on your door |

| MINI2 Master | Yeah, your probably right...but...I got my deposit back yesterday. I don't know what the right thing to do was. I hadn't looked at any other Cooper S's in comparison, it was all done in impulse. I'll have a proper look at Cooper S's and see if I can get a good deal. Maybe go for something that doesn't have 30,000 miles done on it ...I'm so chicken. But being honest with myself, I really really did want a dark silver one ![]() |
