Remus Dual Exhaust for Cooper installed! (non-s)

One of the few dual tip exhausts for the Cooper. I heard it is also rebadged and sold as the AC Schnitzer kit as well.

It has dual 3 inch tips with the Remus logo on them. The AC Schnitzer kit and even the remus website shows a nicer looking oval tip. This kit is appearently approved for some EU noise regulations as well.

Install wasn't very hard, but it does take some time to get everything lined up right and cut the bumper for the left exhaust exit. Overall it took my installer about an hour to get it done. No fitment issues for a 2005 Cooper as well, appearently 2002+ coopers have the same exhaust mounts.

Not much noticible improvements performance wise, the Mini seems a tad bit smoother overall, but maybe its just the sound. It has a very nice deep burble at idle, but not loud at all. Crusing around this is just as quiet as stock. Infact, overall its only 10% louder at full throttle than stock. It does sound nicer however If you're into subtle exhaust sounds thats deeper and richer than stock, this is it. But if you want something louder and more noticible go with something else.

I'll post some videos with the engine revving sound of the stock exhaust and the remus twin system later on.

The pictures shows the stock exhaust, cutting the hole for the left exit, and everything installed. Obviously when the car is on the ground, none of the "guts" will be visible. It does look better than the stock muffler doesn't it
