I know this is probably well known to most of you on this site but I was wondering if you can still order a new mini specced as the Solid Gold? I ask because someone has asked me, I have looked up official mini uk site and it doesnt show gold? I am aware some colours were discontinued, was this one of them? I have had a mental block on this one...

oops sorry, that' s great thanks Paul..

The person concerned showed me a gold mini whilst we were out shopping and it looked very new, obviously just well kept, thanks again.

Well, they were still available for the '05 model year, so any car ordered before, what, september, could still be SG. Add a few weeks for building and delivery, and you could have a fairly "new" SG on your hands. In fact, I saw an '05 Solid Gold this morning.
