Chaps

I hereby declare the opening of the Liquid Yellow Appreciation Club. For those of you currently enjoying yellow One, Cooper and S examples

Plenty of silver, black, red examples out there already; lets get the ball rolling with a bit of yellow action. I have had my Cooper since March '02 and its never seen a car wash. However I am slightly concerned with the amount of colour loss the BMW paint seems to have generated. From the vibrant showroom yellow, it certainly has deepened over the last 2 or 3 years.

Anyway spec includes

JCW - Aero Front and Rear bumpers (no sideskirts as i feel it interupts the black arches)
Door Sills
Car Mats
Front & Rear Badges

PI Lowering Springs
Bazzoka Rear Lights
Superchips Stage 1
Pipercross Viper
Cooper S sideskirts
Full Chromeline Interior
S-Spoke 17's (Currently thinking of powder coating graphite black???) - has anyone any examples of this - would appreciate greatly.

Well here we are - looking forward to enjoying some pics and some Liquid specific exchange!

When I bought my Mini I wanted a distinct color, Harach (of MOP, Mini of Peabody) had me look at the class photo of the first year of MOT (Minis on Top). He told me to cross my eyes to see what stood out. Everything went to mud except the Yellow Minis.
My wife asked how long I had to change my mind.
I stuck to my guns and could not have been happier. At most get togethers I go to Liquid Yellow is always one of the most poular colors.
My next one will be yellow for sure.

My wife wanted LY/W and I eventually caved, since it seemed being different was a big part of the Mini experience. Besides, with so many oblivious tourists here in Vermont I wanted to be seen. So Nugget is just as she wanted, plus the sports and cold weather packages. Those heated seats sure are nice this time of year! Minus 13F this morning and I was all warm and cozy on my morning drive to work.

Spare set of wheels with Nokian snows
Paw graphics (we have four golden retrievers)
And the coveted full bank of toggle switches

No current pics. With all the grit and snow it's not possible to see the yellow anyway!

Another LY/W Cooper here, from 2003. Wow, the Mexican yellow Minis are much cleaner than the northern US Minis!

We all know yellow is the fastest color.

Well! We are fortunate to have gorgeous sunny days almost all year long! That's why our mexican MINIs are always so clean!

We have a lot of yellow Minis in Upstate New York. It helps us find them in the snow banks!

Hello all,

I am proud to join the ly MINI appreciation club. I bought my MINI a few months back through MINI cherished, she is 3 years old. I went to the Sytner dealership and when the salesman asked what I wanted I only had one thing I just would not budge on, - it just had to be yellow!!

Yellow minis are the best, my MINI makes me smile she is such a Sunshine, and I like the way yellow stands out from the crowd. There is a picture of her on my gallery if you want to check her out.

Im thinking of getting her a roof decal, either the spiders web or the zebra stripes, not sure which yet, and ideas which is best??

glebean is a bone stock 2005 LY/W MC which I took delivery of in September 2004. Premium and sport packages, white roof, mirror caps and wheels, anthracite interior including headliner. 4800 miles currently on the odometer. Will have some better pics after a complete cleanup, which is due.

i m living in belgium and as everybody knows the sky here is always grey, but when u have a liquid yellow cooper ,u bring to belgium people sunshine!!!!yeahhhhhhhhh
