Offline | Cooper v BMW Z4 3.0i Took the Cooper on a family day out in the country, it loved the twisties, and I had a go in my brother''s BMW Z4 3.0i on the same roads. While the Z4 doesn't half shift, I felt the Cooper was much more fun at realistic speeds, the Z4 is of couse extremely competent but it doesn't have that chunky, wheel at each corner feel and I actually thought the Cooper has nicer steering with more feedback and chuckability. I imagine people used to driving cars at their limit would have more fun in the rear-drve Z4 but for us mere mortals the Cooper is more fun for more of the time. Anyway here's my Cooper in the country and you can see my cousin's Triumph TR6 (she's a cool girl) and my brother's Z4 in the background. |
