Offline | A little more Omph! Ok, so I am looking to give my PS a smoother ride, and a little more omph. Having done a little research, and I think I am leaning towards the following, and I would like your thoughts? 1. LOHEN Bluefin Remap 2. JCW Air Filter Box Kit 3. LOHEN Denso Iridium Plugs I thought all this would be a better investment than the JCW Sound Kit at present. I'm open to suggestions tho, but do no want to spend over 500 UKP in total on this. | Javelin Sam | so how much was the S exhaust to have put on your car? i think i might have to get the re-map.. see what that will take me to. the guy at the RR said i needed one because my power curve was a bit shakey.. the pull through the rev range was not as smooth as it should have been ![]() |

Offline | This thread is on the same subject and as you can see a fair few of us want a little more oomph. http://www.mini2.com/forum/mini-coop...e-reponse.html Personally i would spend just over your budget and get a Pipercross Viper Induction kit (£250) and the Bluefin. Atm i'm going to do it in stages. mainly becuase i'm desperate for the aero skirts and they will stop me doing the rest at the same time. Speak to the guys at Lohen. they are very helpful and helped me make my mind up. I can achieve a better all round result for just a little more than the cost of the sound kit! |

| MINI2 Regular | ive just started looking into this seriously. tlohen do a few packs as do minisport. lohen for under £400 will get you too 130bhpwith new plugs, air filter(not indcutiion) n a big remap...minisport will give you £130bhp by k&n indution, remap and a slashcut exhaust. i personally liek the minisport one as the remap seems less exessive, though i do wonder wether the lohen map combined with new exhaust and indution kit would be really really good!! strange how they get the power from slightly different ways! im probably going to start a ew thread related to this and other things i want to do the my coop so sorry if i repeat myself! |

Offline | Yes its certainly interesting. I am going on my first Mini Run Meet next weekend, so might talk to a few other people first hand, and see what their thoughts are. Also, being a new Coop, I'm not sure I want to go changing the exhaust at the moment, but certainly, a remap, and filter would be a logical move. Thanks Celtic. Ps.....Love the quads on the front of yours.....want them on mine too!
