Cool New mini cooper JCW

We thought it was about time to change our mini.
So as always, we start looking around just before xmas when we have no money....

Found the most perfect mini for us, and have just put a deposit on it.

Spec is:

Astro Black Cooper 2006
JCW Aero Kit
JCW Sound kit
JCW heated front leather seats
JCW rear leather bench
JCW Carbon Fibre dash
JCW Carbon mirror caps
JCW illuminated door sills
18" Alpina alloys
AC Shnitzer short shift
Xenons
Anthracite rooflining
Multi function steering wheel
DSC
Auto air con
etc...

The only thing that will need changing are the orange side indicators to clear.

Wheels are very unusual, and would have prefered the JCW R105's instead. But i think they may grow on me.

Its completely the opposite from the bright chili red and white combo that I have got at the moment and cant wait till i can pick up the car now. I can hardly sleep. I forgot how exciting it was.

We travelled a long way to find it getting very lost on the way, but was worth it.

Will post pics when it arrives!
woohoo

Sounds great But by JCW aerokit you just mean aerokit I suppose? It's only JCW on the R56 I think.

They're the Alpina wheels on that. They are the only other company, other than JCW, that offered BMW approved parts for the MINI.

Don't really like the wheels but you should be able to sell them for a fair amount of money if you wanted the JCW wheels.

It was acceptable in the 80's

Not sure if this is accurate - but when we were looking at the Cooper S Demo at our local Sytner dealer, it had the Alpina alloys on and the dealer reckoned they were worth about £3K.

Like we said, not sure how accurate - but fairly sure they are worth a mint!!!!

With the new R109 JCW wheels coming in at £25 short of 2 Grand, it's not surprising that Alpina wheels are half as much again - the badge alone makes them worth that!

Yea, i would love jcw r105s. We asked the dealer to swap but he said it wasnt that simple.
But they are all 100% mint condition. Look brand new.
They are great wheels, id just prefer jcw's. They are a lot better in the flesh too. The cherished photos are never taken very well.

If anyone wants them......

heres a clearer pic that shows them. There is a 6 series bmw with 20" versions in my town, and they look brilliant on it and the size is amazing.

i love the look of the white wheels on a mini, but after having them i will never ever ever ever have them again.
but silver jcw 5 spokes would still be cool.

thanks for the link, they seem a lot cheaper....
Do mini charge a premium on jcw wheels when bought through them?
As i was sure that 18" jcw's were around £2000 c/w tyres...

I pick my car up tomorrow!!! wOOhhooooo,
Cant wait.
They have added aero spoiler to match the aero kit, and changed the orange indicators to clear.

Next think will be thinking about changing the wheels. But we'l see how it goes for a bit..

It will be a sad day saying good buy to my current mini, but I think i will get over it rather fast playing with my new toys

My parents dont know yet, and I cant imagine what they will say when they find out. I would try to avoid them but it will be hard seeing as christmas day is on monday!!

I will have to update my signature.
