Smelly Clutch

Hi

Last night my mum borrowed my mini as her honda is in the shop.

Driving it this morning it seems like she was riding the clutch, as it stinks! Its ok when your moving but after youve stopped it really smells.

Will this go away? or is time for a new clutch?

Cheers guys

Neil

I was about to be number 41 there.

Get it checked at the dealers. Not sure if your mom is responsible though.. the clutches are cr*p. I'm going to take mine in for a 4th clutch.

It's depressing to see how much lower the cooper clutch is compared to industry standards - and this in terms of feel, wear, and overall functioning.
