hiya, i know i may sound stupid but ive only had my cooper for 2 days and it has the full sunroof. there is a button to open the one in the front of the car and i can do that but i cant for the life of me figure out how to open the back one or if it even opens??

if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

The back one is fixed.

The rear part of the sunroof opens at an angle, the same as the front during the first seconds of holding the toggle switch. Then the rear pane will close to allow the front pane to slide back, fully opening the front half and debris net.

Not on the first generation MINIs, which is where this post was made.

Only the front panel opens on first generation MINIs.

Yep it doesn't open which is really annoying. Probably the reason they made it open in the R56.
