Cooper Spots

Just fitted a pair of spotlights to my Cooper, I'm intending of splicing them to the mainbeam headlight wires with an in-line fuse, my cooper is 1st gen on a 03 plate. Are there any problems with this. And for the absolute DIYer which wires are they, explained to a novice.

Thanx

Take a look at this thread http://www.mini2.com/forum/exterior/...ght=spotlights

Remember to use a relay and connect the relay to the Main beam wiring - you are then not overloading the car wiring loom. Plus use a 15 amp fuse in the 12v permanent supply to the relay.

good luck
