when i got mine coded i just went round about 10 garages for the best quote, BMW did mine as they had no work on at the time and i got all teh colour coding done... rear quarter panel n tailgate resprayed for £540 i think i paid sumat like that

My gearbox lasted 27k gutted! how much u pay to fix urs? my bfs a mechanic so i just had to send it to easygears to recon it then he did all the fittin for free for me.
My minis up for sale tho, cos just got a house and baby on the way. So if u know anyone that might be intrested then give us a shout

woah! a baby and a housE !lol my girlfriend would love that like ha, i could never say bye to my mini tho i see yours eveyrday on teh way to work, its on the a167 isnt it? i work in aycliffe so, i got BMW to put theupdated gearbox in, those getrag ones are **** they all fail after so many miles, they ghive me sumat like.. 80 percent good will so i think it cost me about £140 or sumat which wasnt bad seen as though it was out of warranty, just got mine back lastnight had all the wheels refurbed looks great, fitted some halo sidelights n upgraded all the headlights aswell, ill ask around if anyone is after it, how much you after? you got anything you wanna sell me before she goes ? Lol

congratulations on teh baby by the way! when you expecting?

L14MWY, what updated box did they fit? There are only two boxes for the 1st Gen ONE/Cooper, the troublesome midland, (which I'm assuming is the one you've had replaced), and the Getrag. Swapping from one to the other is a big job, and certainly isn't something a MINI dealer would touch, especially under a good will deal. I believe 1320autos do it, but don't know of anyone else. You sure they did what you asked for?

absolutely positive, yeah i meant midlands, it had a midlands in there and got a getrag one put in, they definately did it cos i was in teh garage at the time having a look, was awful beforehand, soudned liek a bag of s*it rollin down the road. came out fresh gearbox, absolutely mint.

oh man! i paid just short of £500 just to get it refurbed! lol expensive do yep its always on my front till i leave for work at 8:15 lol
btw did u used to live in the ashbrook estate? or stil do? liam mytcherly is it? if so i rem u cos i used to live round there lol
i have 2 spare mini alloys n tyres but thats about it lol takin all the sub out and stuff to go in the new car, getin an audi a4 family car lol my bfs sellin his evo cos its not very economical!
Just been readin some of urs posts i saw, my passenger seats knacked up too! its in the most uncomfortablest position ever and all

Im only 8 weeks 2day...so another 7 month! haha cant wait tho :

lol mental, where abouts did you live like? yeah i still live there, and its Liam Wytcherley, dont think i will be for much longer like on about gettina flat at larchfield house lol, yeah my passenger seat used to be ****ed, i broke it one night i was messing about in the car lol, got works seats in mine now though, full leather did you use to live in sumat gardens? like on the left hand side of the estate as you go in? 8 weeks is impressive, you gonna find out what it is or just wait n see? lol

i lived in whitebridge drive, hung about with eleanor if you rember her lol only thing i rem about u is u used to have a mountain bike worth about 1k haha :P oooo id love a penthouse apartent :P not very practical for a baby tho lol but thas what our plans were b4 i found out i was expectin.
Yep im guna find out what it is, jus so im prepared but i think my bfs wants it to be a secret lol but wll be a give away if i start buyin blue or pink clothes haha :P
I love the works seats! i had so many plans for mine but didnt get to do them ive got this air filter on tho, its mint :P sounds lie a corsa turbo, yano that nice sound it had to be modified tho cos theres hardly any room in the engine bay lol so we cut it down...(mini size!!!!!) haha :P

lol nice, mine as the john cooper works kit on so like air filter n remap, its alright actualy for what i paid for it, lol yeah my mountain bike lol! i always try to get the best stuff lol, i dont remember eleanor, i never hung about with anyone on the estate cos all my mates lived over west end of town so lol oh well! where you working at now? x
