sound kit + strut brace

has anyone on here got a strut brace fitted and a soundkit . looking at the car it looks like a strut brace may foul the top of the airfilter tube that runs over the fuse box.

Have sound kit and JCW brace on mine. Brace clears but it does just skim the top of the battery box.

As Humph said Soundkit with JCW brace will be fine, had one fitted to our Cooper recently.

Other strut braces you may experience problems fitting to a Cooper, such as pushing the shut lines of the bonnet out.
OMP is one that springs to mind.

Hi guys weve finally fitted it the Cooper (ie non S). Simply remove the stock battery cover and it goes on a piece of cake. Bags of clearance to the battery & terminals etc,so nice & safe too.
See Pics;-
