Offline | My cooper! Yet to post some pics of my cooper up since I bought it so here they are. Thanks to r99 for the MCS bumpers! The 1st one was the day I bought it and the others are as it is now. Any opinions welcome! |

Offline | Now that looks really good - been toying with the idea of changing the bumpers on my 03 cooper but im not that keen on the aero ones. Think i may have to find some S bumpers in pure silver now ![]() Drew |

Offline | Thanks guys! I was gonna do the aerokit but the oppurtunity arose for the MCS bumpers and I thought I might as well go for it. As far as the grille goes it was a fair bit of work! Not so much difficult but very time consuming, I was using a very cheap dremmel rip off tho. If i'd had some better tools I think it would have been a quicker job though. Next things to do are alloy refurb, tyres and maybe a bluefin unless someone has noticed some essentials I have missed! The thing to decide is do I get the wheels done silver/alloy or keep them white? I'm getting all 4 refurbed anyway so its no extra cost to have them any colour I want. |

Offline | Kind of yeah! An aftermarket 8000k HID kit from ebay! Cost around the £90 mark and was worth every penny! Bought them last christmas and had them in my MG ZR then the mini had the same h7 fittings so I was able to keep them. My sister recently bought a similar kit for around £80 and went for 6000k which has less blue; they look excellent too. If I were buying another set I would go for the 6000k I think. |

Offline | Nice job, looks good! As long as you will keep the wheels clean then i would stay with white to match your roof and stripes. Never really understood swapping to S bumpers but seeing yours i get it now, looks like a race is on as i need pure silver to! |

Offline | Looks very good mate. Glad the S bumpers ended up going somewhere rather than sat in my garage. Nice work on the car so far, as others have said the Aero grille gives it an even better look. Good work. James. |
