United-States Performance upgrade questions.

I have a 04 Mini Cooper Non-S and I have a couple of questions.

First I have recently been attracted to the Venom Nitrous Kit and was wondering if this was a good idea and if anyone has this kit.

I have also been looking at a lightweight crank pulley from Atla with the same questions.

And once again with the TSW Engine Damper and a B & M short shifter.

Can you help me out?

You must be mad looking at a nitrous kit, you will well and truly kill the car if you use one

I'm afraid the pistons wont last, though on a std S we have sprayed a 100 shot no problem but we have been around nitrous for a long time.

I do like the idea of an S bottom end in a Cooper with 12-1 forged pistons and 4 foggers and spray it hard.

Yeah, eventually I am getting new internals anyway for a turbo. It seems like everyone is scared to put one on so I guess I will do it haha.

My advice:

Software
Intake (CAI)
Exhaust
Headers (Supersprint or Milltek or Janspeed, ...)
Cat. (Supersprint of Milltek or Janspeed, ...)
Polished clilinder heads
Cams

After all those upgrades you'll end up at 144 / 145hp and 175 / 178 Nm.
Another option is gasoline cooling.
It will set you back around 1400 euros, but it is good for another 7 / 8 hp.

Greetings
