Offline | My Cooper Hi all, My first post and opportunity to introduce my Cooper ![]() Had it a couple of weeks, and only just had time to post. It's pretty much as I bought it although I have added the Union jack roof decal and personal plate. It's an '03 plate, on 60k miles. Look forward to contributing in the future ! Cheers Rich. |

Offline | Thanks for the warm welcome ![]() I love the colour combo also, but probably one of the worst to keep clean (especially those white alloys ). But this is the first car I've actually enjoyed washing !!Next on the to do list is to get clear indicator lenses as I feel they will look better with the colour scheme rather than the stock amber ones. Offline | Looks great, I have the black and white combo too! Looks the muts when clean, but is a b****h to keep it that way! Have to change those side repeaters to clear ones, it makes a massive difference. Make sure you get the silver bulbs that flash orange though. Congrats and enjoy!! ![]() |

| Pure Silver Batman | Very Nice Cooper you've got yourself there! One of the better colour combos! Loving the way you have painted the wheen bolts white to match the wheels...a small unique touch imo. The first Mini I looked at/wanted was Astro Black/White with white S spokes and an Aerokit. I wanted it badly but simply couldn't afford it ![]() Head over to NewMINIStuff.com for the clear side repeaters, they offer a host of different styles from clear to frosted etc...I also believe that if you are a Mini2 priveledge member you get 10% off! Any plans forthcoming? Cheers ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Thanks for the pointer, I'll be ordering shortly. If I had the money I'd defiantely get the Aero kit, but funds are a bit limited at the moment so I've stuck with the 'cheaper' cosmetic updates .So far I added the Union jack roof and the John cooper signatures. The white caps on the alloys are not actually painted, I bought some white plastic nut covers off ebay and put them over the existing wheel nuts. Only cost a couple of quid and I'm quite please with the result. The only other mod is the Harmon Kardon ipod system I added, which again was fairly cheap (less than £30) but is well worth the money. Only had the car about 4 weeks now, but customising is so addictive on it !! Thanks again for the comments, Rich. |

Offline | I love your car, that was the colour I originally wanted! The kit does look the business. Could I ask, did you fit it yourself, if so is it easy to do? Alternatively how much would I be looking at to get it bought and fitted ![]() Haven't raised the issue with the Mrs yet, but your pictures will help to sway her I'm sure ![]() thanks, Rich. |
