| MINI2 Regular | Not doubting you for a second BUT could you scan and post before and after dyno plots? 136BHP is an impressive figure for a chip change only, I would have thought an indution and exhaust tweek would be necessary for such a significant increase. Mike |

Offline | Wow! How much was it. That may solve my delima as why I want the MCS over the MC. I don't need as much power as the MCS has but I am just concerned I will be unhappy months down the road with the MC power. Does it void your warranty? Thanks, Kenny |

Offline | my superchip came from superchips direct to my local superchips dealer through a modem link.it was very simple and took less than 1 hour from start to finish.cost £ 280 and is worth ever penny. the engine was tested before and after on a rolling road dyno to get the bhp increase.superchips no. 0990143005 they will tell you who is your local dealer.ps my mini has been in for its first service and BMW did not detect it. ![]() Last edited by jasper : Oct 7th, 2002 at 03:24 AM. |

Offline | Jasper, I'm confused. You say the superchip came from superchips direct to your local dealer but that it was not detected when you took it in for its first service; wasn't your first service at your local dealer?? Anyone else out there had this done to their Cooper and, if so, what results did you see? If what Jasper reported is typical I can see every Cooper owner wanting this - oh, does anyone know if this is available in the US? Considering it's just a software update I don't see why not. Thanks! Chilly |

| Test thread infiltrator | I presume he meant his local superchips dealer, unless he's got a very friendly BMW garage ![]() If www.superchips.com is the same as our .co.uk version, I'd guess it's available ![]() Dom |

Offline | I'd especially like to hear from someone who's a regular on this forum. I like when people share new products, but I am always weary of people claims who's first post is promoting a product. No offense, Jasper !Anyone else have similar results? |

Offline | Does it cure the mega-flat spot between 3,300 & 3700 rpm? This is starting to bug - tho this is probably due to me not being able to go above 4k due to still running in ![]() Mini Cooper. Offline | According to the Superchip site the 115 hp motor accutally gives you 123 hp, adding another 8 gives you 131 hp. Is this not the correct figure? How did you get the figure 136 hp? frey |

Offline | When I went to Superchips they told me for the Cooper you get a maximum 10bhp power increase (ie the largest difference at any point on the power curver), and an 8bhp power increase at max power (ie IF 115 were correct standard, then 123 would be the power afterwards). Hope that helps. There aint no party like my nana's tea party |
