Hello all,

Well this is my first post here, having had the notion I could actually afford a Cooper about three weeks ago, looked at one in the showroom two weeks ago, test drove one last weekend ("Would you like to take it on the motorway?" ) and placing the order about a half hour later. And they say I'm indecisive...

So come March I should have in my sweaty little hands a:-

White/Red Cooper with:
Chilli Pack
Visibility Pack
CD + BOOST
Heated Washer Nozzles
16" Runflats on white alloys
Sports Suspension PLUS

... oh, and the keys!

Steevo, welcome to the end of your normal life, the dark side of MINI ownership is now with you, long nights pounding the key pad and squinting at just one more thread.
Running outside with camera in hand to take that all important pic to show and help someone else.

Your cooper, is it white with red roof or vice versa, if red roof then you will have a very unique car, to me anyway.
So, remember to post pics.
Hopefully you might get interested in attending some scottish events, ie, the cullen ice cream run in July, it's great fun, all kinds of peeps, all ages and sizes, social events and mini runs.

You know, I might just do that... and as everyone from 'round here' knows, we have surely the best roads and scenery for the ultimate MINI experience. Blimey, I should work for the tourist board!

BTW, it's a Chilli Red/White Roof combo - basically the one in the showroom ha ha! But it was drop dead gorgeous and had to have it.. so there! lol!

This MINI 'community' thing is something new to me, as a driver of a normal car... ok then, a Fiat I'm looking forward to events and stuff when I find the time.

As for the colour choice.. well it hadn't really occurred to me until the salesman asked... and since I drive a cheeky little (red) car right now I thought the red/white the most appropriate. Next would have been black with chrome bits.. very classy... anyway MINI looks good whatever the colour combo you choose

Welcome to Mini2 Steevo, I took delivery of my 03 Cooper last Saturday after waiting since the start of November. Trust me the wait is well worth it, i have had a big grin since collection.
