Just ordered my Cooper with the following spec.

It's amazing how the £10K budget got blown away to £15K!!!

I know what you mean about the ever Expanding Budget required to get your MINI Individual.
Just a Thought, but do you realise you Could have an S with CD & MFSW at that price.
Hmmmmmmmmmm....Maybe time to call the Dealer Tomorrow Perhaps ???

My S insurance was £360, ..just £100 more than my Cooper was {with AXA).
As for Economy............. The Cat Just has to learn to go with a Little Less Food.
AND, I havnt Smoked for just over 6 months now since getting the Car.... Coincidence????

Don't worry your not the only one who decided to go for Cooper instead of an S because of "extra insurance costs and less mpg" Spec sounds great. The best insurance quote I found for an S against a cooper was almost double!

When is your car due to arrive? Ordered mine 06/03/03 due in 27/05/03.

Cooper, Indi Blue/white roof, bonnet strips, Chilli pack, alarm, Trip computer, 17" S wheels, CD boost, Aircon, ASC+T, Xenon, heated mirros/washer jets.

Congratulations Stephen!I know what you mean about the budget!When i originally went to look at them myself my budget was 10k as well and i looked at the Mini One!3 months later i went back and ordered a Cooper with extras!Good choice on colour to!

I ordered mine a week ago due to arrive first week in May

I get my delivery date some time today, as I've just paid my deposit (the garage was kind enough to take the order without the deposit on Friday), but as I was paid over the weekend....

not sure about the date yet, strange how the salesman was on the phone all the time until he got my deposit, stating that he would definetely phone later today with the date.

Well there's not red light on my voice mail, therefore no date, hopefully I will hear from him early morning on Tuesday, but I'm hoping at about 4 weeks tops.

the last week in April...so much for the 4 week wait I was promised, it now looks like I will get my new car in the 1st week of May...same as AndySav.

Has anyone ever had it where this date has changed and the car has arrived early?

It look's like there's going to be a lot of Cooper's being built for members of this group for delivery at the end of April / early May. My Coopers due 29th April, from Sytner Gerrards Cross i just can't wait. The spec is as follows:

Cooper Indi Blue
White roof
Chilli pack
17" S Wheels
ASC+T
MFSW (Multi Function Steering Wheel)
Heated washer jets / mirrors
Visibility package
PDC
Xenon Headlights / Wash
Manual air conditioning
Radio / Cassette BOOST

6 CD Changer
Alarm

Needless to say I wasn't going to spend that much on the car when I started, but it's a lot easier to put all the toys on from new and cheaper than adding something on afterwards. I've just got to wait along with the rest of you for the magic delivery date.

Something like 90% of the cars we sell have atleast 4 or 5 eaxtras on them

very few standard models leave the factory
