Good Morning everyone!

Well yesterday was my first day of NEW Mini ownership and what can I say???? I LOVE IT!!! I want to keep it forever and I thought id just share my view of the spec etc with spending the first 24hours with it.

Spec:

Mini Cooper,

Liquid Yellow with Black roof and Mirror Caps,
Chilli Package,
17" S-spoke alloys with runflat tyres and Sports Suspension, (Not +)
Panoramic Glass sunroof,
Factory tinted windows,
6-disk changer,
Steering wheel stereo controls and cruise control,
ASC+T traction control,
Half leather black sports seats,
Brilliant Silver dashboard,
Chilli floor mats,
Chrome bumper inserts,
Leather steering wheel,

My favourite options are:

17" S-spokes really give it a huge stance,
Panoramic Glass roof,
Factory tinted windows (Bargain at £100ish),

What I wish id had so far:

Air con (but with sunroof one quick run down the end of the road and the cars cool again.)

Things I thought I would regret:

CD changer (quite alot of money factory, but dont regret)
Wave Radio instead of boost (is up to the job and very good for standard I think once tweeked a little with the controls)
Tinted windows (only front of car, not noticable)
Sports sunspension and 17" (Everyone is sceptable as to wether it would ruin the ride and handling of the vehicle, in my opinion it hasnt lost hardly any except around very tight roundabouts but I can live with this, they are my fav option!!!!!)
AND FINALLY The colour Yellow and Black, NOW....... I wouldnt have chosen it any other way, IT LOOKS GREAT!!!

ITS PERFECT, everyone can make their Mini how they want it and I have now suceeded with mine!!!

Lovely car... I will be joining the MINI Cooper owners club in a couple of weeks hopefully...
Just one thing, I thought that to even choose the CD player as an option, you HAD to have the Boost system as opposed to the Wave...
Might be worth checking...

I believe this only applies when you order the CD head-unit, not with regards to the CD changer in the boot. Remember you will still have the cassette head-unit installed.

Hi,

I spent yet another day out init today and ended it up washing it 2 1/2 times 2day, my dad was washin his cars and I kept findin half full buckets of hot soapy water everywhere and as it only takes 1/2 a bucket hey presto!!! But.... I had to wash my gf`s car aswell!!!

I really do love it, cant w8 to drive it to work in the mornin!!!

Just to keep you informed, that sunroof has now made me forget about not having aircon as it is so much fun driving round and at the moment over here we hardly need it after a wizz round the block with the roof open!

ALSO the mfsw is great, but havnt used the cruise control yet!!!

hehe, very similar, I love the yellow/black combo, everyone at work certainly likes it, people walked past2day while i was gettin my lunch from it and a couple of people totally seperate said "I like the car mate very nice" and another said "OHHH I wondered whos that was, its gorgeous!!!" People love it and everyday I come out theres a new beetle parked next to it!!! I`ll attach a pic of my brothers beetle next to my Mini!
