i have posted before but got little reply so i was wondering if there is some way of identifing if a car with ss+ as i have bought a car with (supposedly) but iam not sure
help most appreciated

Have you bought MINI second hand or something?
You could ask the dealer? Otherwise I dunno if there is any other way, but i'm sure some 1 else on here might know.

I would think that any dealer could look up the options with the VIN.

There are many different parts and part combinations for the suspension depending how heavy the car is (with options). The SS+ has a bigger rear sway (anti-roll) bar, but it'd be difficult to measure if it's just a 1-2 millimeter difference.

Also, the shocks will have the cooper s parts
instead of the regular cooper shocks. Do a
search to find the part #'s.

the car was a new car that i had just picked up which the dealer told me had ss+ but when driving i didnt think so, so i checked the struts and then went to the dealer to complain. they are now fitting the ss+ at a cost of nearly £750 to them due to it being there error. totally brillant service from the dealer and highly recommend them.
